A massive explosion rocked Beirut on August 4th 2020, flattening much of the port and damaging buildings across the capital.

More than 200 people were killed and 5000 people were wounded. Officials expect the death toll to rise.

The explosion released a shockwave causing widespread damages to buildings and homes in the surrounding area.

300,000 people have been displaced, and are still in urgent need of food and medical supplies.
